About Dr. Starkey
David B. Starkey, D.C. M.S. Dipl. Ac.
Dr. Starkey attended the University of Florida where he earned a BS and a MS degree in Exercise and Sports Sciences. During this time he also earned numerous certifications in musculoskeletal evaluation and rehabilitation from the College of Medicine.
He is published in the Journal of Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise which is the official journal of the American College of Sports Medicine. His Doctor of Chiropractic degree was earned at Life University where he was appointed to the National Dean's List for his academic excellence. The New York Chiropractic College and the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture is where Dr. Starkey earned his Advanced Fellow and Diplomate degrees for Acupuncture.
He has served on the Board of Examiners for the National Board of Forensic Chiropractors and has been a member in good standing with the National Association of Dissability Examining Professionals. Dr. Starkey is a qualified physician for the treatment of whiplash and associated disorders. Dr. Starkey played defensive tackle for the University of Florida and briefly for the San Diego Chargers.
He has boxed professionally and had the honor of competing twice in Madison Square Garden. Currently Dr. Starkey is in continuing education to obtain further knowlege about whiplash trauma and accident reconstruction.
